I think it reads.

1 x (34 / 23 ) + ( 12 x 2 ) - 5 = 20.47...

since it wasn't bracketed, division is the first part to solve, then the multiplication. Don't think it bears anything to do with pets, merely just a random equation (since everyone's doing it...) for the likeliness of a made up success value?

Even a coin flipped 100 times will never land evenly on both sides... it all has things to do with the inbalance in weight between both sides, the side that's flipped first, the strength at which you flip it etc.... unless you mechanically flip it, you'd still need a perfectly non-bias "coin" to attempt a 50% "heads", and then you've proved nothing, because it's not a coin.

The other side of the coin is tails, nor did I ever say that engineering the defects out of the system would give you a 50/50 result :)

We did it in a maths lesson several years flipping coins, the closest anyone got was 47/100 and the team next to us did indeed manage to flip a coin onto it's side, and we're all very perplexed as to how they managed it...


Is there any point to this topic? apart from requiring money to buy saint pets?
